Hydrogenation
Hydrogenation is a chemical reaction that adds hydrogen to a substrate, which may be a chemical element or compound, usually through a catalyst, in the heterogeneous or homogeneous phase. Most hydrogenation processes use molecular hydrogen (H2), which may derive from various sources (delivered in compressed form to the workplace or self-produced).
SOL’a extensive experience in the production, transport, handling and use of hydrogen means it can completely guarantee the safe use of the plant: the means of transport, plant, apparatus, specialised personnel and certified stockage and usage protocols that SOL offers its customers, are an integral part of its gas supply offer, and make it possible to control the hydrogenation process effectively, rapidly and safely.
