Glass polishing
Combustion with oxygen, in particular using hydrogen as a fuel to obtain a hot, clean flame, is widely used in the glass sector, in particular in finishing processes such as polishing, where high flame temperatures are required to smooth and polish raised parts or edges (of containers or glasses), for example. The burners used for this application are oxy combustible with low thermal power (a few kilowatts) and are designed in accordance with operating conditions on the basis of specific process requirements.
SOL offers its customers specific oxycombustible burners for glass-polishing processes that can produce intense, extremely hot flames even over small areas.
